you told me your room was dark because your skin couldn’t take the rays of sun, yet you didn’t mind waiting for me in the moonlight. i cant believe i fell for your paper-white and silver shining eyes. you told me shadows moved in your room because there was a history of your house and the light hurt your eyes.

you told me you had a secret to share. i thought you were going to propose, but you unwounded the blindfold on me. the lights had been turned out and i hadn’t noticed when you tied me to the bed with ropes.

scattered on the floor were your clothes and camera equipment that would have sold for the thousands. on the walls were peeled paint, and on the farthest wall with an incense and smoke, was a shrine of me, a giant sculpture staring straight into my eyes.

i tried to open my mouth to scream but you didn’t let me, you just pushed your hands through my hair, and whispered, "don't worry...it won't hurt."

my eyes widened in fear, and some say you could see you life flash before you eyes, but that wasn’t the flash i saw. the life paused and rewound, and there were flashes everywhere. in sport tryouts, i heard a flash, in the changing rooms another flash, even in the cold barren shower room located safely in my house, there was another, but i never caught them.

the walls were lined with pictures of me.

unsuspecting, peaceful and calm, all gazing back at me telling me the error of my ways. another scream turned out futile, and the room began to spin. the pictures appeared to grow and grow, until i felt slumber fall upon me.

the only thing that awakened me was you sitting there with you’re camera in hand. drapes adorned your  perfect body as you said, "smile for the camera dear" and you caught my heart in that picture. yours to keep forever.
